I felt that when I applied to Marist, I was a well-rounded applicant. I did well in school, participated a lot of extracurricular activities, held various leadership positions, and involved myself in sports and community service. I formed relationships with my teachers in high school and they were able to provide great recommendation letters. I spent quite a bit of time on my personal essay and studied for my SAT/ACT. It is really important to study hard all throughout high school because your grades are a huge factor and admission is competitive.

I would recommend other students to work hard to do well in school and to get involved in extracurricular activities. Marist College puts a large emphasis on community service and extra curriculars and therefore I would recommend to students to not only be a good student but also to get involved in activities outside of the classroom.

I would recommend other students who want to get in to work hard in school and to get involved in many extracurricular activities. Marist College is very big on community service and is also very big on the students getting involved in extracurriculars therefore I recommend to a prospective student to demonstrate not only that he or she is a good student but also that he or she was involved in many things outside of the classroom.

I was involved in many extracurriculars in high school, including sports and honors organizations. I also held many leadership positions and held high grades. I strongly suggest staying active in many extracurriculars in high school, seeing as more and more students are applying to Marist each year, and having a great, bust background will help you stand out more.
